Sasha Avteniev

About Me
Hello! My name is Sasha Avteniev. I'm a gameplay programmer with a focus on physics programming, from Brooklyn, New York. I am a senior Game Design and Development student at RIT with a minor in Physics. I currently work at Magic Spell Studios as a Unity VR developer. Although I've only studied game design since coming to RIT, I've loved games and physics my whole life.
Below is a collection of the projects, both academic and otherwise, that I am most proud of! They showcase my leadership experience, unique problem-solving strategies, and hunger for trying new things. I am a quick, stubborn learner, always looking to get to the bottom of the "why" behind technical and design decisions.
I am incredibly determined and able to commit to things I feel passionately about for a long time. Notably, I've been practicing Jiu-Jitsu for almost thirteen years (which I'm sure will come in handy at work at some point). If you have any questions or would like to reach me for any reason, please feel free to contact me!
